Forerunner LG04 Tires
The Forerunner LG04 is an all season tire manufactured for lawn mowers and other garden tractors.
Excellent controllability is promoted with this tire. The ribbed tread pattern and the special silica compound increase the model’s continuous contact with the surface. In other words, these elements increase steering responsiveness and driving stability. The model’s steering response time is quicker and more accurate to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. On the other hand, the outer ribs upgrade the model’s cornering and maneuvering during the performance.
Great versatile terrain traction. The ideal tread pattern and the special silica compound upgrade the tire’s soft, loose, and uneven terrain traction. The optimized tread elements firmly grip the surface with extra biting edges and enable the tire to keep forward motion even on grass and turf surfaces. Also, the optimized grooves maintain a clean footprint, while also preventing stone retention from harming the tire’s casing.
All season performance is ensured with this tire. The optimized tread elements and the all season compound upgrade the tire’s dry, wet, and winter-weather traction. In this manner, the ideal tread pattern maintains surface contact at all times, while the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in warm and cold temperatures. This combination ensures a safe driving experience throughout the year.
The Forerunner LG04 guarantees a turf-friendly performance. The ideal tread design minimizes damage on grass and turf surfaces. This tread and its soft traction do not harm the driving surface during the performance, which leads to a turf-friendly driving experience. As a result, these elements make this model an excellent choice for lawn mowers and garden tractors.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire’s possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
