Kenda K500 Super Turf Tires
The Kenda K500 Super Turf is an all season tire manufactured for lawn mower and garden tractors.
The tire promotes excellent traction on versatile terrain surfaces, thanks to its tread pattern, which firmly grips the surface throughout the performance. The optimized tread elements increase the soft and loose terrain traction. They upgrade the forward motion throughout the model’s performance, while also keeping the footprint clean. The tire manages to closely follow the surface, utilizing the soft traction throughout the drive. As a result, the ideal footprint prevents damage to the turf terrain. The traction does not damage the grass field, which results in a safer lawn mower performance.
The model offers excellent controllability. The wide footprint and its continuous surface contact increase the tire’s steering responsiveness and driving stability. The tire’s steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver’s instructions, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure. The rounded shoulders boost the tire’s cornering and maneuvering during the performance. This combination guarantees the tire’s safe driving experience.
The Kenda K500 Super Turf guarantees great year-round performance. The ideal tread design closely follows the surface at all times, while the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in warm and cold temperatures. This combination ensures the tire’s safe driving experience in dry, wet, and winter-weather conditions.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire’s internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire’s non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire’s ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire’s possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
